The weather in Mauritius is sunny and warm  practically all year round. The island is located in the humid tropical climate zone. The average temperature there in July is 26°C, while in January it is 32°C. The seasons in Mauritius are the opposite to those in Europe. This is because it is located in the southern hemisphere of the earth. We recommend staying for a minimum of 16 days and staying in the north of the island in the winter.
